In 1986, Mr. Lloyd tried his first plaintiff’s jury case.
In 1990, Kurt D. Lloyd obtained the first $1 million plus medical malpractice verdict in a rural Illinois county.
By 1995, Mr. Lloyd had begun obtaining record-setting jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. He won a $9.7 million verdict against a managed care physician on behalf of a child with brain damage, and achieved an $8 million settlement in a wrongful death case against University of Chicago Hospitals.
After compiling the prerequisite 50 jury verdicts in 1998, Mr. Lloyd received an invitation to become a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, where he remains a member today.
